Sun Sea Villas - Design Philosophy

Traditional Bulgarian architecture such as that showcased at Etera Museum Village is simple yet charming and functional. The combination of stonework, stucco with horizonal or diagonal wood beams, and tile or wood roofs combine to present a timeless Old European look that is pleasing to the eye. Cantilevered floors supported by diagonal or curved beams, seen in the old quarter of Plovdiv, is also traditional and gives a very unique "Bulgarian look".

Our philosophy is to couple this style into a "village" of villas, with a common area where the residents can gather to enjoy each other's company and make use of the village facilities -- a swimming pool and barbeque/picnic area. Combining the best of the old and the new, we want you to feel like you are really in Bulgaria, yet have the most modern conveniences and amenities available.
